Hi,

I have been living in the Philippines for 4 years (Makati).

I need to transfer somewhere around AUS$100k from the Philippines to Australia between September 1st and October 1st.

Can anyone tell me the safest way or ways to do this and what the estimated fees will be?

I have successfully transferred around AUD15k using East West from the Philippines to Australia once. It took about 2 weeks and cost me about AUS$50 in fees.

Greatly appreciate any help someone can provide.

Bank to bank transfer facility is available in most banks in the Philippines. Better not to send all at once for some reasons... but there is no problem is sending and receiving in and out in the Philippines as long as the source and the purpose is good not to finance terrorism or any illegal activities... Philippines is a signatory of Anti money laundering law..... Think of it ..... You could visit any banks for regulations in sending money outside the Philippines
