Hello all,
I'm considering moving to Amsterdam at the start of September for a couple of months, so hoping to seek out some advice.
I'm basically looking to move somewhere centre downtown, somewhere near shops, bars, restaurant's, nightlife etc without it being too rowdy/loud at night. What areas are good?
And If anyone had any good websites to look for apartments (looking for short term rent) or any other pointers that would be great too!

www.kamernet.nl is one for instance. Locations in A'dam are relatively close to eachother.
Could be advisable to take a hostel for a couple of days and look from there.
