If you have an Apple or android device there is a Bahrain Culture app which gives ideas of places to visit etc.  (We went to the tourism place at Bab al Bahrain today and they gave us a leaflet with QR codes for both.  It is from the Ministry of Culture, though written by another company!!)

Having only just downloaded it I can't give you a proper analysis of it as yet, though it has shown a few places that we have already visited!!  The main categories are What to Do, Where to Go, Where to Stay, What to Eat, About Bahrain, Bahrain Timeline...
