Dear All,
Just read a news item that said that the IS and Peshmerga are fighting it out in the Makhmour province which is only 40 kms away from Erbil.
How is the situation developing in Erbil? Would welcome any assessment of ground realities in Erbil from people who are there now!

I just returned from Erbil and it is safe and sound. Peshmurga are holding the line 40 km away and will continue to push them back with USA help.
