About the wedding cost, it really depends on  the bride's family.
I'm Algeria, the groom pays the mahr and the dinner for the bride's family witch should not be expensive , well I am talking about the dinner. The mahr is up to what you guys decided.

The groom should not pay for the brode's wedding, this is the tradition on Algeria so be careful, her parents should do that.
