hola everyone

My boyfriend and I are looking into Uruguay as our next destination to spend a few months in and try how living there is.

Any advice as to Visa requirements for EU citizens, work in the construction industry and translation/interpreting jobs would be appreciated!

You can come as a visitor for three months easily. To work legally this is current I think

Jobs here are limited (especially if you do not speak Spanish) and poorly paid. Most locals earn less than $1000 US per month.

Cost of living is quite high, friends who applied recently for permanent residency were asked to show $2000 US per month of income.
