Hi Im going to travel to Bulgaria for the first time this summer. Ill arrive on Aug 6 and stay for 10 days. Ill stay in Sofia for a few days, go to Bansko for a friend's wedding and then probably head off to Polvdiv and other places for sight seeing. I'd like any suggestions to help make my plan. I'd like it even more if someone had time to hang out and show me around. I'm easy going, culturally curious, love food and drinks. Hope to meet some of you.

Hello there,
when you travel from Sofia to Bansko, do not forget to visit the Rila Monastery, and during your stay in Bansko - go to see the ancient church in Dobarsko ( 5 km. away) and the Macedonia pub in Dobrinishte.
