I am a female teacher in South Africa.
I am considering moving to Abu Dhabi with ADEC. Am married with 2 boys (13 & 8years) -
The ADEC package to my knowledge includes accommodation and health insurance.
- Is the typical rate advertised of UAD12000-13000 real?
- Is accommodation furnished or not. Do they typically offer relocation assistance?
My main concern is the cost of education for kids.
- I understand the offer might include edu allowance for kids. Is it so and what should be kept in mind?
Any info will be appreciated from someone with ADEC
- Would you recommend it?

I think its better to post your queries on Facebook and tag South African expats in Abu Dhabi or Dubai ..
Or maybe u need to join the group first.
They may be able to answer all your questions.
Many teachers there on that page.
I am a nurse so I have no clue.

ADEC does not offer educational allowance for children but ADVETI does. Salary depends on qualification and experience but I think anything from 15000 AED is good. If you have children of school age, then ADEC may not be the right choice for you as schools fees ranges from 25000 - 40000 AED per year per child.
