I'm looking for a place to volunteer while in Brussels for a month. I speak ONLY English so I know that narrows down my choices greatly. I've tried emailing some event coordinators for the upcoming summer festival in Brussels. And I'm waiting on a response. I'm also looking for a decent hostel that is reasonably priced, in walking distance to the centre and has good reviews. Any suggestions?

Don't know if it helps but if you talk to "Chalks" at People to People Belgium, I bet he can find a way to help you out... He is on FB as Chalks Corriette...
I believe he has a FB site for People to People Belgium also. He is a not for profit operation that networks people here in Belgium...
