As Kenjee suggested, you could place an ad in the jobs section of this blog.

You may also try talking to your friends by phone or whenever you meet up with them on your day off.

There are a lot of similar cases like yours, of people wanting to change careers and they're from many different nationalities. I'm sure some of them know of restaurants or hotels that are offering jobs.
