You can surrender that at airport only if they ask you too. If you have a final exit... and no one's asked you to surrender anything then you should have no worries.

So in any case I don't need to surrender Iqama at Jawazat?
Actually, I was reading that in February 2014 somewhere, it was asked to do so in Jawazat.

you can cut it in two pieces and surrender at the airport immigration. if you dont show them the iqama they will not let you go. point is should be destroyed. sometimes also a picture of iqama in two pieces is sufficient.
