Finding a job in Brazil is not at all easy for foreigners, since the laws here require employers to prove they have exhausted all efforts to place a qualified Brazilian in job vacancies, before they can hire a foreign national to fill them. Those who a university degrees in professions and in the STEM (science, technology,engineering and mathematics) field may find it just a little easier, but not much.

Also, the ability to read, write and speak Portuguese with a reasonable degree of fluency is absolutely essential. English is not widely spoken here, not even in the workplace.

You probably stand a better chance of finding work at home than you would here. However, you could contact multi-national companies in your country that also have operations here in Brazil to see if they can help you in any way.
