He lies the issues.

Malaysia imports only two types of labour:

- experts as expats who bring in valuable skills and experience
- cheap labour to do 'dirty' jobs Malaysians don't want

Same in most countries that are relatively well off.

So trying to get "work experience" goes against this. Obviously there are internships for college grads usually as bipartite agreements between countries. You are not in that category.

So best to cut losses and head home where you can legally work.
