How to plan the visit and the preparation

Welcome to the forum. Congratulations on getting PR. The first priority would be to start job hunting. Try this website for work www.seek.com.au.
Make sure when you contact employment agencies or companies tell them you have PR. 

Then find a place to live, so choose a state that has work for you and then go online and look at houses etc. Find an area that has a school for your son.

I would also go online and search for clubs or communities in what ever city you choose to live in and contact them for information and advice.
