Planning to get into Canada anytime soon but will love to start working before academic work start ,please is it possible that way and also if its possible to get accommodation till I gather enough to pay for my hostel bills. I really need answers thanks all

That's not how you do it. It would be considered illegal to work when you are on a study permit. The best way is to make sure you have enough funds for you to sustain your cost of living and fees for at least 6 mths before applying for an off-campus work permit.

The other ways to earn while studying depending on the nature of the course that you register for. For example most masters degree, allows you to apply for a teaching assistant/ research assistant position. But if you are just in for a degree, try your hands at an on-campus job (that does not require a work permit)
