Welcome to China.

I am now based in Nantong, Jiangsu. I used to live in Shanghai (briefly). Check out the following site. www.smartshanghai.com

It has a list of events, and happenings in Shanghai as well as showing were happy hours and certain offers or promotions are on in expat bars etc.

The best thing about it is, it has a service where you can request a text message to your phone in Chinese with addresses for venues etc. Very handy for showing a taxi driver when you want to get around.
