Hi,
I got an opportunity to work with one of the most reputed mining industries. however my family is hesitating to allow me for Congo location due to security issue and Health issue like fevers.
I have offered a net of 3000 USD with single status.... is it OK to work there and what is the cost of leaving there. Is it safe if I take my family on my own there.
Kindly guide me urgently as I've to take the decision immediately

Lubumbashi is pretty safe. nothing different from most cities I guess. As for health issues, your main worries would be mosquitoes and malaria. There are preventive pills you can take every few months just in case. Check with your local doctor.
As for the cost of life, It all depends. Are accommodation and transport provided? With your salary you should be able to make it especially if you're not a big spender.
