Hi guys,
I'm a Canadian living in Tourcoing for the next few years...I'm really interested in getting a dog! Anybody familiar with the legislation and rules surrounding getting a serious pet in France? Is an expat allowed to have a dependant? What kind of paperwork will be needed? Anywhere I can find any information?

Hello! I am coming to Marseille in the fall. I shall have with me my two small dogs. Coming from the U.S.A. to Europe is not a problem. Your vet can help you with the necessary pet papers you will need. No problem there as well. Good luck! Keep me posted. Joni [email protected]
