Where are you that you are so homesick?  Where do you consider home? What do you miss so much that it makes you homesick?  Are you having problems adapting to your new environment?

I have a sudden desire to snowboard.

I've never been homesick, because I have alsways been at home - no matter which place of the world fate brought me. An open mind and willingness to not judge but accept (and maybe adopt) the local ways, and the ability to see the glass as half full, not half empty, is all you need to do this. Why should "home" be just a small part of this wonderful world, when it could include all of the amazing diversity it offers???
