Ideally they would be able to. But it would be hard unless there is a venue somewhere where mix genders can attend.

Nice initiative. Hope you would be able to pull of this time

Very good idea but unfortunately very poor organization.
Somebody should be in charge of the meet-ups in every city & he should be the main contact for the meet-up.

and this way it'll be much easier for organizing & gathering everyone.
