I am looking at moving to Egypt in the next few months,to work. Was curious as to what i need to prepare before making the move: visa info, any decent local knowledge, bank accounts etc! Any info would be great. Thanks

Job is secure, which appropriates to a modest living ( from my estimates) just after some of the basics!

Make sure it has accommodation and flights included - if not then they are trying to screw you already.
the cost of living is increasing - especially if you want to eat like you would at home. Imported products are expensive as is meat.
although electricity and gas are much cheaper
