The short answer is yes there is a monthly deduction off your salary ay leaat for university teachers. Exactly what it is im not sure it's vague and the amount doesn't seem to be fixed either. Same job same salaries yet different "tax" between misurata and zawia. It was abt 70/80 LYD in misurata and more tham 200LYD in zawia. Hope that helps.
