As German is the mother language of Austria, you need to know German. If you dont it is very hard for you get a job. There are lots of schools around in Austria that teach it. But before you come its good to have the basics.

Yes, but lots of Eastern Europeans also look for the same jobs so these jobs are very few. This is why I say learn German to get the best ones.
