Can you really grow taller living in Martinique?

I have heard a story that adult can still grow taller a cuple of centimeters living in Martnique....
And some scentific research about it,  eventually the researcher and his assistant grows 8 and 6cm.....

Anyone lives there has some experience about it?  Or it is just a rumor... very curious   LOL!
