I hope I can give you some information:

don't worry about your children if and how they pick up a new language. Children learn faster and easier then adults do. You will be surprised how quickly this goes.
Information about school systems depends what kind of school you are looking for: private, international, "normal" schools, religion orientated or schools who teaching from a different point of view. Like Jena plan, Monterssori etc.
Depends also where you going to live: a big city or in a small village.
