I have got marketing job in Riyadh. It's a green company. However my employer cannot provide me visa as he said he has only visas for Egyptians.
However, he can provide me job letter as a commitment , but I have to confirm whether I can arrange TRANSFERABLE Iqama or not
I hold an MSc Marketing degree from the UK
My questions are:
1. Shall I buy open/azad or transferable Iqama? If yes , then which type of visa shall I buy? A technician visa is available for me with some agent.
2. What kind of visas would you recommend I should buy. Is it difficult to get Marketing Specialist (Khasayi Tasweeq) visa/Iqama?
3. If I buy open Technician visa and come here, then HOW MANY DAYS are required to transfer my Technician Iqama to my employer (who is providing me the job letter) ??
4. Any thing else, you think, I should know?

No. Don't buy an Azad visa. It's strictly illegal. As you'd know hefty checks are underway in KSA. You'll be immediately deported if you are unlucky.
If you buy a visa in a green category company, legally it will take you two years to get eligible to transfer to any other company. You're supposed to wait for that time.
By the way, by buying an Azad visa, you're not getting a TRANSFERABLE visa that your employer has asked.

If TECHNICIAN visa is not what employer is asking, then what kind of visa should I have?
The only legal way is for your employer to bring you, and that also, on the correct job title. Anything else (incorrect job title but correct sponsor, or different sponsor and working for someone else) is illegal.
P.S. Get the same job in a nearby country where there is rule of law concerning employment, such as UAE or Qatar.
So the Technician azaad visa cannot be transferred to Marketing Specialist iqama?
