Hello everyone, If anyone can help I would be greatly appreciated. In August my wife and I will be moving to Ethiopia to teach at one of the international schools. The question that I have is there any one with expierence bringing their car and personal items to ethiopia.
I need to know if we brought our vehicle with us would we have to pay all the taxes and customs fees? I have owned the vehicle for 5 years, and we plan on taking it with us to our next job. Would we be exempt. or do we have to pay. can any one tell me roughly how much the taxes would be?
Please let me know how this is done

Hello sir,
Its nice to know that u ar coming to Ethiopia to teach our students, like u asked u can bring ur cars with u but wat u have to do is that first u have to prepare the documents for the cars then depending the car type, year of manufacturing and the cc on arrival u will pay taxs and other coasts for more information send me full info about the cars u ar bringing with u.
