Job market in Germany???

Job market in Paris???

Hi all

Just wondering what the job market is like in Germany for English-only speaking Aussie if I get a working visa?

Just curious to see if
1 - I need German, or English is acceptable
2 - If there is any jobs to be had?

My experience is admin but I am happy to take what I can get!

Connie

Although there are some English-only jobs available, your choice (and thus chances of getting one of them) is obviously much reduced.
In addition, you as a non-EU citizen can only be hired (by law) if no European with similar skills is available. This is tough, as there are many unemployed Europeans (especially in low-skilled areas like admin).

I would not consider admin low skilled...

I am happy to try anything to be able to live and work and experience the country.

Would you not recommend a working visa at this time?

where exactly are you trying to move, Connie? I see posts of yours saying it's your dream to live in Venice, in Paris, in Spain, in Germany, in the Netherlands. The story is mostly the same in all these places- as a non-EEA passport holder, speaking only English, and without a highly educated in-demand skill, your employment opportunities will be limited.

I am exploring my options, with my age I'll only get to choose one location.  Thanks for the info

What kind of work, and where?
Also, what are your skills, education, work experience, language abilities?
Do you have a work permit?
