Hi,

we have a car in Malta and the registration has to be renewed in April this year and also the inssurance.

My question is: If I dont renew the registration do I have to notify the MTA of it and can I have the car parked somewhere on the street even without valid registration for like 3-4 months?

We are currently out of country so every formal visit to the MTA is out of question.

You have to inform TM but the car cannot be parked on the public highway but must be garaged.

You can licence the vehicle on line if you are out of the country.
