Helicopters buzzing around is just a fact of life here. However, this evening seems to be different.
We live on Reef Island and for the last few hours they have been circling literally non-stop. It seems something more than normal is going on.
Any idea what it is?

They found a car with a bomb in it. So they increased patrolling.

They were circling Mahooz/adliya for quite a while at midnight too.

I too use the SSFC facebook page for getting to know the "goings-on" here. There are also a few reliable tweeters on twitter who I follow for good updates.

I too follow SSFC on Facebook. It's pretty useful to know what's happening "right now". I keep an eye on the British Embassy's announcements for the planned demonstrations.
