Hey everyone.....30 days I to my new life here in Vietnam, so far I love it!!! My question is which area is safer and better suited for a single man, An Phu in D2 or Phu My Hung D7? And can anyone tell me how far PHu My Hung from D1? Thanks for the info

Phu My Hung is the nearest one with 20 minutes journey. It's better safe to live in some apartments.

I don't feel this is a dangerous city at all, specially compared to cities like NY, London or Warsawa.
So any neigbourhood should be ok. It depends on what you are looking for: garden, flat commodities, sport facilities, parks, night live....
D2 is a mix of expats and vietnamese (more in Tran Nao street area), and you can walk at night! D7 is more families with houses, more quite.
