The UAE has extended visa on arrival privileges to citizens of 13 European member countries, it was announced on Wednesday.
Starting March 22, citizens from the following 13 states will be exempt from acquiring pre-entry visas to the UAE: Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Estonia, Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovakia and Slovenia.
Following the development, citizens of all 28 EU countries will no longer need to apply for a visa to visit the UAE, in a move that is aimed at enhancing political and economic relations between the two parties.
