Hello,

I am MA fashion design student from Lithuania and I am coming on 1 of June to Delhi to make my intern work. So I would like to make some friendship and information changing!

i like go 2 eastern part of india, assam, kolkatta....

Hi roshan,
In assam so many places is there to visit my favourite places are Haflong, Majuli Island, Kamakhya Temple.

Hi
You're welcome. Wish you pleasant staying. Let me know if yu come to Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh.

Hi I am anoop. I live in bangalore. I have worked allover india. I like to meet new people and help or assist people with whatever i can. I like to meet expats guide them in india and learn about their culture, food etc. my moto is
1. Live and let live
2. one life live it

Hej everybody!
I said 'Hej' because I've become this huge fan of Swedes and a devout lover of Stockholm where I was supposed to work, but couldn't because of something called a Trade Commission??!? Apparently one has to contribute something to their economy before being able to work there. Howabouthat!

Anyway, I was named Vaishnav, and unlike my cousin who's in the movies, like my name and decided to stick to it.

I am a singer by birth, but since I never really cracked the big scene, decided to become a Journalist (photojournalist) and finally ended up an Advertiser (Copywriter), currently an Associate Creative Director with LOWE and Partners worldwide, Gurgaon.

Gurgaon... My father said this very interesting thing to me before I left for here from Bangalore. He said no one belongs to Gurgaon. Bringing me to my next point: WHY I WRITE ON AN Expat.com BEING AN INDIAN LIVING IN INDIA.

Frankly, and since I am from the south (Bangalore, Ooty), I think I AM and Expat, too! Well that's how I feel at least. Everything here is so strange to me it almost feels like a Close encounter with the third kind!

Besides, I have been living and dealing with the 'True Expats' almost all my life - Girlfriends from four different countries (Indian girls wouldn't date me and I don't know why?) and friends all around the world (I did a  Euro trip for one whole month on a peasant's budget and Ive worked in New York). So I'm more used to living with the bunch of you than my own kind. Oh, I can also be very private.

Anyway, cutting to the chase, I just moved from Bangalore to Gurgaon and I'm looking to share an Apartment with likeminded people. Yes, I am open to those long, grueling interviews. Preferably in a bar.

Yes, I do drink and smoke ( I know it's a terrible habit. So I'll never smoke indoors), I love pets although I don't have any, I love travelling and reading and riding and all that makes a person very cool.

So, yeah, If anyone has a room, a large...ish room to spare I'll be the most ideal mate for you. And no, I don't care how old you are, what you do, male/female/robot, as long as you know how to have a good time.

To sign off, in Anthony Kiedis' voice, Hit me you can hurt me: 9900485753

Hi there

I'm from Sao Paulo, Brazil and I love indian style and culture, in my opinion it's one of the most intersting places to know nowadays, even though so many indians would like to live abroad...I think the same happens in my country. I've already been to India 4 times, (this year Feb-Apr) but I 'd like to live there for longer time, have a job and everything. I love music, dance, arts in general, reading, traveling, nature and getting to know people and different cultures. I work as a translator but I'm also graduated in landscaping.

regards

Pedro Vidal

thank you very much

hello i am gaurav chovatiya lives in rajkot gujrat india. i am intrested in international trade.

Hi! My name is Jessica and I am looking to move to India from Australia in the next 18-24 months.
I currently help with the running of a children's home in India and have been to India 5 times now. I have many India friends there but no one that can give me information on how to stay there permanently. I am 31 years old.
I would be interested in moving to Bangalore as I would think this city would give me the best chance of getting an English speaking job, I really like Bangalore, and its the closest city to my friends.
If anyone can help me with any information on how to get a job, what's involved, Visa information etc. it would be appreciated. It is something I have thought about for a few years now and after returning from my last trip I realise that India is where I come alive and where I want to be.

Hey Konnichiwa, hope you are fine, are you currently in Delhi?

Hey , hope you are fine, are you currently in India? I live in chandigarh city north India :)

India doesn't really offer long stay visas for foreigners. You can stay 6months a year on tourist visa but working is not allowed. You can also try employment visa but you have to find job before traveling to India and you have to be offered some big salary (I don't remember how much exactly) and you have to be some wanted specialist. Normal paid jobs are kept for Indians they don't want foreigners to take those jobs. You can study in India and stay on student visa. Other option is to marry an Indian. In this case you can apply for X Entry visa but no work is allowed and after 1 year of marriage you can apply for PIO Card (it will be issued in 2-6 months) with PIO you can work. So you can get work permit after about 1,5 years of marriage.
If you are still studying you can apply for some student exchange at university in your country and there are also internship programs for young people.

I am looking for EEE(Engineering graduate) based jobs in muscat for about 800 OMR minimum salary, if any one come across, please let me know.
