The other side of the Bahamian postcard

Hi,

As a tourist in a foreign country, very often, we are enchanted with what we discover.

Living abroad is different. It's a rich experience but there are also some difficulties to face.

When people ask me for advice on living abroad, I then tend to say that one should also look at both sides of the postcard.

As an expat in the Bahamas, how would you describe the two sides of your Bahamian postcard?

Thank you for sharing your experience,

Julien

I m in the Bahamas  and I m European and I think Bahamas is not for  to live. There are better Caribbean country where to relocate.

I actually like your perspective and would love to know why you think it's not good to live there.  Quite interestingly, I have not lived there, I have only visited and love it!  But I could sway in any direction, given ample information.  On what basis are you referring when you make the statement?

Is it not friendly to foreigners?
Is it the economy?
Is it that there isn't too much to do there?

I would love to hear from you.  Also, what other islands would you recommend and why?
