Cost of living in Bahrain for a family (spouse +1 child)

I got a job offer in Bahrain. I am an Civil Engineer with 5.7 years experience & they are giving me the salary of 500BD/month. Is it possible to live with the family on this salary structure?
Please give me valuable advice.

Cost of living questions come up frequently so if you have a look through some of the previous posts you should find the answers you are looking for. Is the salary you mention intended to cover accommodation as well or is there a separate housing allowance?
