Hi there! i'm a Civil Engineer and have a job offer in Brunei. I already received my work contract and BUR500 from my employer. I need directions on how to apply for an Employment Visa or Employment Pass. Is it ok if I travel to Brunei as a tourist and process my Employment Visa there? If I process my Visa in the Philippines, it will take long (approx 1 month) as there are a lot of "red tape" with regards to medicals, BDAAC, etc.. I need to have a job immediately in order to support my family.
Please help. Need professional guidance/assistance asap. Thank you.

I think your employer will help you proceed the Visa application in Brunei. You have you ask them for detail..

Hi maxine1,
Medical examinations need to be processed in home country, unless in special situations whereby they may be processed in countries like Malaysia and Singapore. This is Step 1 of the medical examinations procedure, Step 2 involves doing another medical examination in Brunei.
Also, the POEA has to be applied by the employer first before you can come, if I'm not mistaken.
