What to bring with

My husband just signed a minimum 2 year contract in Dubai. His package includes a relocation allowance. We are now packing up but unsure whether we should even ship our furniture abroad or not. Is it worth it or would it be better to just rent a furnished apartment.

Re: What to bring with

For two years?  Personally I would rent a furnished and just take a pack a few things that make it feel like home...a bedspread or whatever....take your CD's though, if you like music, you'll really miss them.  If you take off the cases and put them in those cloth bound book style holders you could take quite a lot.
