I have received a job offer as marketing manager for a dubai co to develop some african markets, but i'll be based overseas.
Any one has an idea of an expected salary for that position based overseas?

i think it will start from 20,000 AED nearly equal 4000 $ u can check bayt.com to know exactly the salary ...Best Regards

what are they talking about ? 8000 AED. You must be kidding.
Inform yourself about housing, transportation, insurance, sim card, fuel etc.....then between 20000 and 30000 in this position is quite a good offer.

It depends on role and responsibility , also in which company you are getting placed. In fact you will be placed in remote country then salary will be based on that country not as per UAE standard.
