Hi everyone and a Happy New Year!!
I am planning a trip to Dubai by the end of this month and was wondering if I could bring an LED television from there for my home. Is anyone can help me with necessary information like:
is it allowed to import television sets in Kenya?
if yes, am I subjected to pay a duty at the airport?
if yes, how much would that be? and everything else that might help me decide on this..............

import duty applies at the airport.You can buy your tv in Dubai and send it through Salihya shipping company
they charge 400 per kg youll receive your cargo in eastleigh in nairobi.its much cheaper than the customs at

Tumi ekta kaaj koro. Contact a clearing agent if you want a shipment by freight. They will guide you. Otherwise if you bring with you in air, customs will ask for some import duty which will not be prohibitive. But why you are not buying from here not mush significant price diference. You will get warranty.
