Do a google search on "rentals san miguel allende". This will give you a number of sites to look. Caution is that Internet rentals are usually higher than what you could find in a personal search while in the city. Most will stay in a hotel and walk the neighborhoods looking for "se renta" signs. In this way you can find places in the neighborhoods that you like.
