Christmas Activites.. Are there any ?

Hello expats

Are there any Christmas activites ??

For those who are not going to celebrate Christmas back home with their families, what are you doing ?
Any plans?

It's looking like a movie / PS4 / Embassy party / hungover kind of Christmas for me...

niceee, What did ya get?

New CoD, BF4, Revampped some of my DVD's to Blu Ray (Halloween, Friday the 13th and Bond collections), nothing new really worth getting yet....

cool beans my man, revamping your movie collection earn you some respect in my opinion. I lean towards movies and TV shows rather than games, video games have been getting more complicated and involved in the last few years to the extent that I find it too much of a trouble to learn how to play.

have you watched any good show lately?

Just Walking dead and Sons...

@local, are you christian too? Just asking.... :)

I used to watch the sons but I stopped halfway through the 5th season, it gotten pretty boring going through the same stuff you know.

@boredomsucks nah man, i have lots of christian friends that all :)

You should check out this season... shit got real and fast....

After Jax found out about his dad and how he died, it kinda killed it for me, I was hoping that they would make it as a series finale and Jax would go crazy after he finds out.

Nah, man... Im not going to spoil it in case you watch it, but it got good this season.... lotta shit came full circle.

[keep that kind of comment for you]

Nahhhh

Dude, Spoilers!!

Sry.....

I'm going to the local strip joint and then a champagne buffet.

Nah, not really, I'll be crying into my corn flakes as usual.

Yeah tell me bout it. Corn flakes n Heineken work tho

I was being a bit silly in my jokey post, I'd rather be doing something constructive on Christmas Day. Past Christmases were mostly enjoyable but I got tired of the commercialism and pressure to overdo everything. I think I'm actually working on the day but if anyone knows of any charitable events around the time I'd like the opportunity to take part, provide a little help.

Hey there guys, 1st Christmas here for me - I'm thinking of going to either Bahrain or Dubai. What's your go to place there for good night out?

Guys your are amazing :)
This is a gold mine! Very useful info here.

Yeah, well ... welcome to the Kingdom

Surely you'd done enough research to realize that this place isn't exactly long on social activities :P  If you didn't realize it, shame on you.

Well I just realized that :|

I am a positive guy  always have hope here.
Hope gives me energy to stay sane for the time being

I thought "Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan" was funnier--and cruder, which perhaps is what made it funny!

So it's gonna be a movie night on Christmas Eve..
devastating!

I haven't seen these so I don't know what the content will be, but American Dad in Saudi and Family Guy in Saudi might make for enjoyable viewing.

Also Wadjda may be worth a watch.

well happy holidays everyone

I dont wanna watch tv that night, any gatherings really?
