Should we relocate to Maputo? Share your feedback pros and con

Hey everyone!
Me and my husband are planning to relocate to any country in the south of the continent.
We discovered Maputo through friends and thought we might give it a try.
We tried South Africa but work permits are quite difficult to get overt here and we are also looking for a low pace city.
Do you think Maputo could be a good choice?
What do you like and do not like in your life in Maputo?
Which areas do you recommend for a flat?
How expensive is life?
Could we get reliable internet?

My husband is in the IT industry, could he easily get a job?
