Czech Republic Allows Dual Nationality?

Hi,

Is there anyone knows that if someone Apply for a Czech Republic Citizenship he or she has to give up his/her previous Nationality?

Other then this how long one has to stay and work in Czech Republic in order to get Citizenship?

regards

To my knowledge, Czech law still requires anyone who wants Czech citizenship to give up all other citizenships as a condition of application.

Not having Czech citizenship here isn't really a big deal, permanent residency will give you all the legal rights of a citizen with the exception of being able to vote in national elections.

DUAL will be allowed since 2014
as far as i know

min 5 years  - working or business visas
** student visa are counted as 1/2

Sparrow.iv , czech dual nationality will be allow only for czechs http://www.mzv.cz/pretoria/en/visa_and_ … czech.html

...but there is no guarantee that it will be granting citizenship even if you will resident over 5 years. I know cases which passes through a lengthy process

don't forget they MAY give it , but they DON'T MUST! There is not a legitimate defense to demand
