Hi guys

Soon in a few months I will be coming to Libya. I an planning to bring with me my personal collection of softwares I needed for my work. I stored all this programs and softwares i my external hardisk, we can say these softwares are pirated copies. Will I be able to pass thru customs without problem? Are customs officers checking the contents of hardisk of laptops and eternal hardisks?

From what I've seen, 99% of all software for sale in Libya is pirated.....so you should feel quite at home

Haha agreed! I picked up a copy of autocad for 5 bucks at one of the markets here! Works great!

i am also moving to libya at the end of the month furter to the original question if they are checking laptops and portable hardidsks at the airport it will take me a week to get in the country as I have about 500 gig of work and music (so i seriously doubt they are checking to that extent) ????
