Need advice about finding a job besides an internship

Hello Everyone

I'm an Egyptian Equine Vet. I work for the Brooke hospital in Cairo and I'm trying to move to Melbourne in an internship for a year.

I have a chance to get into an internship program in a vet hospital in Narre Warren. The internship is a great opportunity for me to learn , but it is not paid.

I was wondering if I took it, how long it'd take me before I find a part time job while doing the internship and how much I'll be earning per month. I can only afford to pay for the flight and maybe a month without work then I'll need a way to survive there, that is why I'm worried.

I can't practice as a vet there , but I can do vet nursing or any job that I can live off besides the internship
