I've searched several supermarkets - Tamimi, Carrefour, Danube, Lulu and Panda - and this website and have not seen where to buy facon. I'm not a huge eater of the meat but, sometimes, it makes a nice change from the others.
I did find ostrich and made a bloody good curry the other day, but a facon sammich one morning would make a pleasant change. I don't mind if it originally had feathers, humps or said "moo", it's just the thought of some crispy scrumminess and fried egg inside a fluffy bun would go down wonders.

i have always loved the "Americana" (brand) strip (beef) bacons - but unfortunately, it seems (that brand) to have gone extinct - and I could not find it in any market for the past...year?
