I came to know that SKSH will open on April 15. Cancer and Cardiology dept will start on Dec'14 onwards. My friend in RAK told me that SKSH paying good salary . So everybody in RAK is applying to SKSH.

Jemson are you applying for medical field also? Did they scheduled you for interview?

Hello everyone, any updates??? It's quiet in here..anybody has been cslled for interview? By the way i've read from yesterday's newspaper that they hired 450 nurses direct from the philippines..that's why i'm starting to feel nega now..huhuh...

I don't think they will recruit 450 nurses at a time. Don't fell negative. They are installing equipment's and establishing departments now. total 1400 staff required and 60%  will be nurse. So there is enough scope. My friend told that HR department is very busy and SKSH will open only on April'15 So,they will not respond to applicants quickly. But it is always better to try all source to enter SKSH. Because of good pay and RAK has a cheap cost of living the competition for job is high.Never give up.

It is my first post here, I tried to call the number given by Jemson but it is either busy or nobody answers. I am a Consultant Surgeon from Germany, I was in RAK (Alhamra) 2 Weeks ago but I did not know that they were recruiting. Now I am back in Germany but would like to get my CV through to SKSH. I an not sure how to get my CV to them.

Arieslady, don't let that negative vibes eat you.     I as well didn't receive call, my colleague was done with the interview, I'm still hopeful that they will call and schedule me for interview.

I did and other members in this forum also send to that address. My other friend used that email address and he's been interviewed.

You can send CV to the e-mail id i mentioned my post earlier. They are receiving CV at reception also. Friday & Saturday is off for them. They don't have website to apply in career section.

Did your friend got a job in sksh? Were she notified after her intrrview?

Dear Aya,

When visiting the SKSH try to meet the HR team not the receptionist receiving the CV.You tell them i am coming from Abu Dhabi etc.

Yeah I will look for the hr team and follow up my application with them which my friend's colleague handed to them.she was told to follow up after a week soI will do so. I will surely look for the filipina hr whom she handed our cv.

Did your friend/colleague who had been interviewed in sksh got  a job there?

I rang them today and they told me that there are 2 opening stages. The first is in April 2015 and the other is late in 2015.
Regarding the response time they told me to give them 3 weeks.

Whom did you speak - i mean at reception or HR Department ???

I rang the number mentioned here. I am quite sure that it was the reception.

Are you telling us that SKSH will going to start ( Opening) on April 2015? What I heard is that they are going to start ( initial opening) this coming December 2, 2014 just like  SKGH in Umm Alquwain. SKGH started last Dec. 2, 2013 the UAE national day and SKSH will also open on that same date this year since they are both run by the same company the MOPA (  Ministry of Presidential Affair). They even start to call applicants for an interview.

The Grand opening is April 2015 confirm. They will start 2 department - cardiology & Oncology by Dec'14.of course they will call applicants because then only the required staff will be ready by Dec & April . As you aware the licensing formalities is a time consuming affair here.

Best wishes. Try to meet the HR guys. You should ask there name and contact number for follow up - if they willing to share. SKSH is located on RAK - Dubai Emirates Road,  Exit # 119, Emirates Road (311) near Banyan Tree Al wadi resort . You take taxi from RAK Bus station and tell the driver location.

The guard doesn't allow us to go to the hr but only here in the reception area.the guard wants us to leave our cv to him

aya if they're not allowing you to go to HR, just give it at least to the receptionist and ask your queries.

I handed down my cv to the local receptionist she said that the nx post is on april2014. I waited for the filipino receptionist bbut she is busy upstair.

April 2015 you mean aya? So they ceased the interview for all department temporarily? Did you get any contact number from them aside from Jemson's?

Any way we should try continuously. But i think they will interview candidates to make a reserve to call when need arises.
