Hi all
Q: I have been informed that a visitors visa can be 45 days or 90 days. However my question is, who decides how many days the visa is? (Specifically for a wife)
Can an individual make a request?
Does the employer request ?
Is it down to the ministry to decide?

The number of days are requested in the online application. There is a field in there. Ministry usually doesn't alter the days. They just approve or disapprove the application.
Do note that visit visas can be renewed recursively to max 9 months.
