Welcome to Quito!

The only book club that I've heard of is a Spanish book club that I've recently joined. It's organized by some English speakers who are trying to improve their Spanish skills. We just began the club about two weeks ago, and we move pretty slowly - right now we're reading a short story every week. It's a really great way to improve your Spanish vocabulary.

The Association of British and American Ladies have a library at Hotel Savoy Inn, Yasuni N44-164 and Ave. El Inca. They have a good selection of English books and a few in Spanish and other languages. The phone numer 246 0620 extension 172. You can call to know about registering and attendance hours.
