Hi there,

I just moved to Beijing and I know that it maybe soon to ask but I would like to know where I can shop for winter clothes and shoes at a reasonable price. And also where to buy humidifier.

For clothes, if I don't shop at brand shops (H&M, Zara etc.) I would go to one of the following:
- The Zoo market (located just across from the Beijing Zoo, subway line 4) - it is a huge 5-6 stories retail market with a huge choice of clothes and shoes
- 3.3 in Sanlitun behind The Village has a few nice shops, though some can be pricy
- Wudakou market - a bit more difficult to get too since it is located in the university area, but not too big, very cheap and has a decent choice of clothes

I've found a rule of thumb at the Zoo market - higher the floor, higher the price and quality.

The Zoo Market is not one place but a number of buildings. The best is to go the Export building.

Nothing wrong with the quality. I have been buying there for years and years.
